Work—grandmothers share about their own and others employment experiences. Grandchildren share what they learned from grandmothers about work as well as their own employment experiences. Visions and views about ideal working conditions, and desirable types of employment and income. Discussions of “slave wages,” service pan, getting paid something other than cash wages, and getting paid what one is worth. Having one’s work be valued or devalued.
