Coping/Grief

Strategies for dealing with the pain that comes with living, prescriptions for managing loss, and lessons on how to move on. Coping lessons can be effective or ineffective. Coping also includes resourcefulness, resilience, and making a way out of no way. “Just pray about it.” Also examines the ways in which grandmothers help grandchildren deal with trauma they’ve experienced. It also explores the ways grandmothers and grandchildren have experienced trauma or inflicted it on each other.
